Scoil Chuimsitheach Chiaráin marks the day in pink with lectures and other activities |
|
International Womens's Day was celebrated around the world last Thursday, 8 March. Scoil Chuimsitheach Ciaráin was no exception and women and girls were brightly attired in pink T-shirts for the day. The event was also celebrated with a range of activities including a visit by women from the community who gave speeches to the girl students about their careers and the challenges facing women in their professional life.
