Senator's Slimathon challenge

Senator to leave no stone unburned in search for lighter role
Senator Trevor Ó Clochartaigh is hoping the public will see a lot less of him this year as he prepares to take on one of his biggest challenges yet – Slimathon Mhic Dara!
Ó Clochartaigh’s New Year’s resolution is to lose weight and the Slimathon, which is being organised to raise funds for Naíonra Mhic Dara, An Cheathrú Rua, is just the recipe.
He will attend the weekly weigh-in which will take place on Mondays between 6 and 7 o clock in Acadamh na hOllscolaíochta Gaeilge, An Cheathrú Rua along with all the other participants.
The course will begin this Monday, 16 January and will run for 10 weeks.
Naíonra Mhic Dara is due to move into Ionad Cúram Leanaí na Ceathrún Rua, a newly refurbished premises in An Cheathrú Rua shortly and the slimathon is being organised to raise funds to buy the furniture and equipment which will be needed.
All are welcome to attend and personal information will be dealt with in complete confidence. There will also be a prize for the person who loses the most weight.
The only question now is will Seanadóir Ó Clochartaigh be the one to claim the honours!
